Barbara Bahr Sheehan is an NCIDQ certified Interior Designer and has been practicing in the Boston Area since 1994. She is a professional member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) where she served on the Board of Directors for 2 years and now remains an active member. She obtained her Design Degree from the New England School of Art and Design and also holds a Bachelors of Science in Business and Marketing from Kean University in New Jersey.

Barbara Bahr Sheehan Interior Design Inc. has been in operation since 2002. Prior to starting her own Design Firm, Barbara Sheehan worked as a Design Assistant, Project Manager for 2 Interior Design firms and then managed the Interior Design Department of a 21 person Architectural Firm in Boston for 4 years.

Barbara Sheehan has been on the part-time faculty of Suffolk University for the past 9 years where she teaches Residential Interior Design, Furniture Design and Professional Practice for Interior Designers.

I approach projects in a collaborative way with my clients and I appreciate the trust they place in me to help them make good decisions.

My first and foremost goal is to create homes and spaces that my clients love to live in. Whether the project is new construction, remodeling or re-decorating, I work hard to make the process a positive experience from concept to completion".
